So you want to guest-post an article on Kkomp.com – Beyond eh?

Do you think you’re good enough to do so? I hope so; because I just write the odd stream of drivel to stop everyone from thinking that this is a dead blog.

OK – so here’s the deal yeah: –

You write a post: Something to do with tech and/or helping people to get the best from their PC… Well I say PC; this blog is meant to be for Mac owners too, so write something to do with getting the best from your Mac if you’d rather.

Here there is no bias; so with the exception of Linux… – I apologise, I meant “with the inclusion of Linux, OSX, Windows, FreeBSD, and any other operating system in existence, you can write with regard to any issue that you think people might need help with that involves computers: That can be anything really; just because we geeks know oodles about computers ‘doesn’t mean to say that everyone else does – so if you want to do a post on how to switch on a computer then please be my guest.

Just a note to say that if you write crap just to get a spot on the blog or to try to make me look silly, then I’ll publish anyway – with your name as the author, and a note to say that the information or some of the information in the post may not be correct, and you’ll look silly not me.

If you just want to send me the written bit and let me edit it and add illustrations then that’s fine; but it might be a while before you see it appear on the blog in that case, if it’s accepted.

If you want the article to look and read a certain way then submit the article’s HTML and I’ll try to keep it as true to the original as I can. In such a case I’ll create the post privately first, and only you and me will have the password to it. We then get together online and tweak it to how you want it to look and read, following which you approve it and I post it publicly; or, in rare cases, we scrap it if there’s an unsolvable disagreement of some kind. (‘Just covering my ass there.)

As owner of this blog I reserve the right to refuse to publish any article I choose not to publish, at my discretion. However I will be pleased to publish as many decent articles by guest authors as I am able to. I’ll also link back to your site so please send a Max 160-word biography with the link in it. (The link counts as one word only.)

Please authors – no “comment-slang” etc; coz idky I shd hav 2 do all t edit yh. I cba, k. – U got tht? Kl. – FFS.

This blog is, to all intents and purposes, a “do-follow” blog. – So you’ll get some link-love. Just to mention that I also use the CommentLuv plugin as of November 2011; so all commentators now also get more link-love too.
