I’m not being funny; but if you’re one of those people still using XP with the default browser; the one that installed with XP, then your browser sucks big time, and it’s about time that you changed it.

Internet Explorer 6 is the worst browser ever developed: Geeks hate it, bloggers hate it, and developers hate it.

Why? – Because it can’t do anything right; that’s why: –

It has problems with transposing frames, it fails with gif transparencies, the code-base is antiquated… The list goes on and on. – IE6 really is a nightmare.

If you use IE6 and you think that web-designers are producing crappy work these days, you’re totally wrong: It’s your crappy browser making it look like crappy work.

You need to upgrade your browser NOW.

Upgrading your browser is easy; really: A trained baboon could do it. – All you need do is click on one of the browser icons provided, (I personally recommend FireFox; the first icon on the left.) download the installer, and run its .exe file. Doing so will install your new, better browser, and if you set it as the default browser, every page you open from then on will open in it – and, take my word for it in advance, you will be so glad you installed it, believe me.

Don’t worry; there’s no cost involved: This is all free of charge, and I’m not trying to sell you anything, other than the idea of making your web-browsing a pleasant experience instead of tedium.

Internet Explorer isn’t the best browser anyway; but if you want to stick with it I’ve included an Internet Explorer icon, through which you can download Internet Explorer 8. Internet Explorer 8 will run on Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7. It won’t run on Windows 2000 or 9x, so don’t try if you have any of those antiquated operating systems. – Download an older version of FireFox instead why not, if you’re using something that old?

OK that’s all. I’ll copy those icons just below this text in case you missed them up above. Do please update your browser though if you’re using IE6. It’ll make your browsing so much better. – Even this website will look nicer. – Try it and see for yourself.
