For those of you wanting pure impersonal technical articles I have news: The recent promotional period in which I’ve been deviating from the previous content-type of this blog is coming to an end, and there’ll be no more advertising of the Blog Masters Club for around six months. If you missed out then all I can say is you’ve missed something that could have been so beneficial to you.

There’s always the opportunity in future to climb on board in around six months; but the longer you leave it the more entrepreneurial people will get a head start on you.

For those of you who object to my promotional efforts; sorry, but I have to fund the continuation of this blog somehow. Banner ads don’t work: I’ve been doing those for a long time now and you readers just aren’t buying from them, so that’s basically a waste of time on my part. I have to pay for the server, server maintenance, domain renewal, computer maintenance in relation to my equipment – which I do myself but it still costs, and also have to somehow account for the time spent in maintaining this blog.

You get free information, great offers, and the chance to leave feedback – to which I respond normally. I get the bill. Who’s paying? I’m certainly not intending to lose money. I like helping others, I’ll even help my friends out in a small way financially at times; but I’m not going to become mega-broke helping people who mostly aren’t even interested in me or the blog’s welfare.

Desperate times call for desperate measures; so if what I’m doing isn’t working I do something else: Simple business fundamentals. If you object to my promotional efforts and won’t put up with them then I suggest that you spend your time going from free non-commercialised blog to free non-commercialised blog as each of them in turn closes down/is abandoned/the owner goes bust. I don’t intend to go bust. – End of this particular part of story.

Back to the point re.those of you wanting pure impersonal technical articles: I’ve already written a large number of those. The news is that I’m fed up with being so impersonal; so it’s coming to an end: You’ll get technical, but more varieties of technical, and you’ll get more of me in it too in whatever way. ‘Don’t like me? – Why the hell are you reading my blog then?

When all’s said and done, though, we’re moving back to a more technical style as of, with a difference. Oh and yes I will be running further promotions similar to the BMC promotion I’ve just been running, so expect them as and when.

The Public Bulletin from earlier in the month still stands; so don’t expect too much right at the present time. This promotional campaign has rather taken it out of me in a way: I haven’t been only promoting here on this blog you know. – This blog is just one of many promotional methods I’ve been using.
