Beyond

It started with a follow request: I asked Rich Menga of pcmech.com to follow me on several social media sites such as Twitter, FriendFeed, MySpace, etc… I even tempted him with the offer of a topless photo of me: I sent him, online, a picture of me with the top half cut off…

To cut a long story short he asked if I’d send him a packet of John Player Special cigarettes - Which aren’t sold in America:

Getting them there was quite a feat: The first lot I sent never turned up; so 2 1/2 weeks later I sent a second mini-parcel which was better wrapped and didn’t appear to be a pack of ciggies. The disguise worked, and whoever realised, in whichever country’s postal service, that they were cigarettes and “tested” them the first time - was fooled by the disguise the second time; and about a month after the whole thing started they arrived safely - At PC Mech’s PO Box.

A week later and they finally got to Rich; who made the following video regarding the purpose of the internet, using the cigarettes as a prop.
