2009 is well underway. Obama is rockin’. – At least he’s doing better than Bush; but that’s not really an achievement. The world appears to have hit the bottom of the recession and is maybe starting to gently pull out of it, at least so it appears in May. I’m wondering how many people will still be living in a recession even after it’s over. The media’s given some people a case of “recessionitis” I dare to posture.

Rise above it, you people who want to succeed: Those that don’t will stay in a recession. – A personal lifelong recession. Only those of us who actively evolve and progress decisively and with a positive determination will overcome the the media-inspired recession-frenzy and come out of it all smelling of clover having landed in roses. – Er, I mean smelling of roses having landed in clover. – There’s too many pricks in this world as it is; without landing on a cluster of them.

Life is too short to be negative throughout; so go forth and prosper; or come fifth and always be one step behind the winners.

 

 

Girls With brains: In my experience something men both adore and loathe with a passion to whatever extent – Hopefully  in a balanced way so that the adoration and the loathing cancel one another out.

Yes I am referring to myself and no I do not consider myself a genius nor am I such: However I do intend to use the rest of this page for the purpose of blowing my own trumpet as well as to have a few toots on my own saxaphone too. Please understand that this is primarily for your information should you wish to know it. 

I have an IQ of 143 as tested by British Mensa; which is unfortunately for me a single point too low for membership of British Mensa, but which is also equal to or higher than 97% of the planet’s population’s respective IQ scores on average. I have a good technical and scientific understanding; partially to do with my peculiar upbringing (A long, usually boring, and sometimes unpleasant story; which I don’t intend to dwell upon herein.) and partially seeming to run in my family. I wouldn’t say I’m full of myself but I do prefer my own company most of the time. I’m quite materialistic and I see things in financial value as well as in any other value that they may have; all aspects of these two factors go to make up their total worth to my mind.

Despite having a technical flare I’m also rather artistic: A combination which causes a conflict of interests at times; ocurring more on the technical side than the artistic side of me – That’s probably part of the reason I’m not a fully-qualified engineer on the technical side nor a professional artist on the artistic side. I am one of those people who require a round tuit in my posession at all times. I do actually posess one somewhere, but I somehow become seperated from it rather too often and tend to prefer to leave things on hold until I get around to it again if I possibly can and the situation’s not a priority or urgent.

To date I’ve been concentrating mainly on a technical slant with regard to this blog as you may notice; although you can expect it to turn either way, technical or artistic, at any given point, and maybe even go off at a tangent. I’m aware that I’ve directed the “Kustom Komputa blog” link to this particular blog for the time being, despite the fact that it has, to date, very little to do with Kustom Komputa. Things are in hand in this regard however, and a blog is awaiting input at kustomkomputa.com upon my reacquisition of my round tuit; until which time I will beg forgiveness for only having a single pair of hands and less than 48 hours in each day, in which to get all the things I’d like to get done, done.

Yes it’s those terrific twins from the UK Big Brother 8 show with their rendition of “Barbie Girl”. Actually if you ask me it’s better than the over-sanitised original by Aqua. Blowing that kiss at the end of it somehow ruined it though in my opinion. Play it and see if you agree. – Go on; play it loud.
