Welcome to Kkomp.com – Beyond. Here I show people how they can get the most out of their computer.
In Brief: -
My name is Sharron Field, aka Shazzalive – but you probably knew that already. This blog is a part of my living. – Yes I want to generate money from it, and in doing so I intend to share what I know with my readers too; a lot of the time without any charge.
I’ve been into electronics all my life pretty much, and into computers since the 1980s on and off. I’m now a qualified electronics technician, and until recently I built desktop computers for a living. There was an “old version” of this blog, up until November 2010; which was on different nameservers with a not-so-cool hosting company. I was intending to carry all of the old existing stuff over to the new nameservers with the new host and continue with the blog as it was, – but an error and corruption in my database made that very difficult. In the end I gave up and decided that everything needed updating and re-doing, so I decided to start again: I’ve re-written and republished some previously-published articles that I wrote, as well as created new material – which is an ongoing process.
In a nutshell I’m a geek and a blogger who does their utmost to make money from being just that.
Electronics is a rather intricate progressive science which reaches from normal-size, right down to the nano-scale; that’s the width of a few atoms, and even smaller than that, even to subatomic particles such as the electron.
Computers today are basically just blocks of pre-built electronic circuitry, fitted and connected together. It all sounds pretty simple doesn’t it? It isn’t: Read this blog and find out for yourself.
As you may notice, I don’t only talk tech; how to optimise your computer, etc: Yes it’s great to have a snappy and well-maintained computer as a very versatile tool to use for a purpose; but unless you actually have a definite, constructive, and positive, purpose for it, it becomes no more than a toy. – A rather expensive toy with its potential totally wasted.
On this blog I suggest a number of ways to not only optimise and otherwise maintain your system, but also many techniques to use it as a tool to make money.
I say what I mean and keep the bullshit to a minimum. I may explain things in great detail at times and in places; but I keep the flannel off this channel as much as I can, and concentrate on what matters.
I write articles for people of several different levels: Everyone has to begin somewhere; so I try to write articles for the beginner as well as the more seasoned persons.
I’m trained in electronics and have a City & Guilds 300/301 qualification. – So I’m not just a bag of wind: I actually know exactly what I’m on about when I write it.
I worked in the sales industry, in addition to the electronics industry which I was employed in – even before I qualified, and have practiced electronics as a hobby since age 7 years.
I’ve built quite a few computers in my time; and there’s nothing like actually building your own system as an education into precisely what’s inside a box, how it connects together, and why it works.
