On Patch Tuesday on October 11, 2011, Microsoft is intending to release 8 security bulletins; one of which is classed as critical with regard to all currently-in-use Microsoft operating-system software.
The respective Vulnerability Impact of these patches is remote code execution in 6 cases, including the critical cases, elevation of privileges in 1 other, and denial of service in the last.
