Just a little note I thought I’d add as an article: -
I was browsing around various examples of geekery today, when I stumbled across a site full of freeware that you may well find very useful if you have a liking for using the command-line in Windows XP. (Most of the programs are available for Windows 2000, NT, and Server 2003 too, but I’m mentioning XP here as it’s still, at time of writing, the most widely used Windows operating system. – Although Windows 7 is on its heels and catching up.)
My blog’s all about getting more from your computer; and this particular article is about getting more from your XP command line.
So with no more needing to be said I’ll direct you to the site called Optimum X, where they all are, so that you can browse around the list of available downloads, if you’d care to click here.
Finally, before you do click there – just for your ultimate pleasure, here’s a few ads.
