Hello there. ‘Tis me the Shazzalive again – finally, after an extended period of inactivity in regard to this blog.

Well look I enjoy the Summer, and the last thing I want is to be stuck indoors all day in a stuffy office while the sun’s shining and everyone else is out getting the most out of it. – That’s why I run this blog in the winter/bad weather, and in the summer I’m making videos, mp3 s, etc. People such as my guru, David Risley, live in places such as Florida, USA, and get great weather all year long. They don’t miss anything by working indoors for an extended period because it’s always sunny and hot outside, every day of the year… Except for night time of course, when it’s just hot; – well warm anyway.

You may have noticed that I’ve added a promotional video in regard to this blog to the Home Page. Expect more of that type of thing as and when I get round to it. The video takes up a lot less screen real-estate to say oodles more than a massively long page of writing could ever say. – Which I’m sure you’d agree is a good thing yeah?

OK – so as you’re probably aware – I haven’t been doing a lot on this blog’s front line since February this year or around that time. (I have, however, been beavering away behind the scenes doing general maintenance tasks and keeping everything running smoothly.)

I bet you’re wondering if this blog has suffered as a result in some way? Well the good news is that it hasn’t really suffered any setback at all as a result. The Alexa rank continues to remain steady at around 2.3 million. (During September to November 2009 it went as high as 990,000; but I had to work frantically on the blog to achieve that ranking, and my social life suffered – in fact became non-existent- as a result of doing so. I nearly forgot there was anything beyond cyberspace that year, and started to look like the freedom-deprived geek that I was becoming.

Never again. – Sorri but I’m just not doing it. – My financial health improved a little, my physical health probably suffered in some way, and my mental health held strong until the structure began to crack the following spring and I used the excuse of falling in love to down tools totally and have a life at last for a few months. I really enjoyed last summer in the main, until I wrote off my new car and my then-girlfriend’s brother suffered a minor injury in the process. – He’s healed though, and everything is almost back to normal, so no real harm done.

So what I’m saying here is that, until I move to Florida, after you lovely readers have bought loads of my quality products on offer in this media and allowed me to make enough money to do so, the amount of content-production in relation to this blog is going to always be seasonally regulated to some extent.

What about search-engine rankings? – Doesn’t the seasonal lack of activity affect them? Apparently not, as the following screenshot of a Google search will attest to. – I still have the top-spot in a few cases.

- So do expect fresh content from time to time, but expect more as the days get shorter and the weather gets colder. I intend to enjoy the British Summer while I can for the time being.
